With history dating back to the Middle Ages, Hamburg is Germany’s second largest city and principal seaport. This thriving metropolis is brimming with fascinating culture and energetic nightlife. Walk along the bay and breathe in the sea air, or visit one of the city’s numerous museums. Whether you come for food, history, or excitement, you will not regret choosing Hamburg for your next cityholiday...

Hamburg offers exceptional shopping, whatever the weather. In less favourable conditions, the large indoor Europa Passages are ideal: five floors of shopping heaven! On sunnier days, the Alsterar Quays are a good option due to their location on the water. You’ll find even more water at the Binnenalster: this lake, situated in the heart of the city, is a wonderful place for a stroll or a drink. Hamburg is the ideal destination for a varied cityholiday.
